This brand-new sleeper train is about to make traveling between cities in Europe a lot more fun.

Before you know it, a warm morning in Berlin may be upon you.

There is no doubting the comeback of international rail travel, even though many Britons are reluctant to use the train moving into 2023 due to several continuing union strikes around the nation. As we strive to maximize our time away from the workplace and search for more environmentally friendly solutions than boarding the next flight, there is a rising demand for leisurely travel options.

Fortunately for us, a new train business is planning to capitalize on the popular European Sleeper.

The community-based firm is moving on with plans to launch a route from Brussels to Berlin starting on Thursday, May 25, 2023, with tickets going on sale on Monday, February 20, 2023. This follows rounds of share investment.

There are several types of carriages, starting with the six-person carriage which is the most economical to occupy and may be privately reserved. Women-only carriages are an option in four- or six-person compartments of couchette carriages, which include stacked bunk beds.

However, book a sleeping car, which is available for solo travelers and parties of two or three, for the ultimate rail trip across the continent. The best part is that they may be far less expensive than the cost of a four-star hotel in Amsterdam or Berlin, where rates for three people start at €109 (about £96 per person).

Bicycles are permitted on board for an additional cost, and dogs are welcome in private compartments if you find yourself pedaling through Amsterdam's canals between visiting other cities. Children under the age of four travel for free, while children between the ages of four and eleven can use the service for a discounted rate.

Best of all, it is possible to travel from London to Berlin in less than 16 hours owing to daily services between St. Pancras International and Brussels Midi. Routes depart from Brussels on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:22 p.m., so you could work for half a day before boarding the train and arriving in the German capital looking sharp with plenty of time to find a nice new breakfast place.

While European Sleeper is concentrating on the summer 2023 debut of its Brussels to Berlin route, there are significant ambitions to grow the network.

The following expansion, which is anticipated in 2024, will link Brussels to popular city getaway destinations Dresden and Prague, still through Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Hannover, among other stops.

Prices for shared six-person compartments on European Sleeper trains begin at €49 per person for a single ticket. On the same premise, couchette vehicles start at €79 and sleeper cars at €109. The first trips' tickets go on sale on Monday, February 20, 2023, and voyages in 2023 start on May 25, 2023. Visit europeansleeper.eu for more details and to remain updated before the booking begins.
